Residential & Exposed Concrete

Private villa

Project: Private villa with exposed wood Concrete & Swimming Pool
Location: nearby
at the Limassol, Cyprus

Our Mission
We undertook the comprehensive restoration and finishing of the exposed concrete surfaces, both interior and exterior, at a private villa near Limassol. During the inspection, we identified poor concrete quality and visual defects: approximately 6 cracks ranging from 0.2 to 1.0 meters in length, as well as dirt and residues from formwork removal. Our goal was to restore a uniform, clean concrete finish.

Millimeter-level precision in the Mediterranean. Restoration of exposed concrete at a private villa in Cyprus.

Challenge
The peculiarity lay in the combination of substandard concrete, visible cracks, and residues of detachment materials — as well as the requirement for a continuous, uniform exposed concrete finish, both inside and out. In addition, Mediterranean weather conditions required permanent protection of the surfaces. Working closely on-site, we combined crack repair, reshaping, and fine grinding into a single, cohesive result.

Finishing & Treatment of Exposed Concrete

After minimal abrasive cleaning, we reshaped the damaged areas, applied a thin layer of filler, and touched up the paint locally. The cracks were widened, cleaned, and filled with a two-component epoxy resin, while the anchor holes were repaired with fiber-reinforced concrete plugs finished to match the shadow joint. On the side exposed to the elements, a water-repellent treatment (e.g., Sikafloor Curehard LI) ensures long-term protection against moisture. Inside, we created technically sound joints using SIKA material and achieved a uniform sanding finish on the floors (grit 220 to 440).
