During the inspection, we identified poor concrete quality and visual defects: approximately 6 cracks ranging from 0.2 to 1.0 meters in length, as well as dirt and residues from formwork removal. In addition, Mediterranean weather conditions required permanent protection of the surfaces. The cracks were widened, cleaned, and filled with a two-component epoxy resin, while the anchor holes were repaired with fiber-reinforced concrete plugs finished to match the shadow joint. On the side exposed to the elements, a water-repellent treatment (e.g., Sikafloor Curehard LI) ensures long-term protection against moisture.
